The following booking conditions apply to all bookings for transportation services to be provided directly by Black City Cars or transportation service providers registered directly with the Black City Cars platform.
The vehicle pictures shown on the platform serve exclusively to illustrate the different vehicle classes that belong to the individual car categories. Please take into consideration that any of these vehicles could be assigned to your reservation when choosing the desired category. The availability of some vehicle’s classes may also vary depending on the booking location.
In the event of non-compliance with these rules and inappropriate behavior such as vandalism and activities that make the driver feel unsafe or uncomfortable, the total amount of the agreed fees remains payable, less any expenses that may have been saved. Additionally, Black City Cars or the service provider may claim compensation from the user or passenger for the necessary repair of damage to the vehicle or cleaning dirt in the vehicle caused by the passenger that exceeds the usual level.
BABY-/CHILDSEATS.
This information must be entered in the NOTES TO DRIVER field under PASSENGER DETAILS when booking. If you would like a child seat, the age, height, and weight of the child are required. If this information is not included in the booking, the trip may not be carried out due to safety regulations depending on the legislation of the country in which the trip takes place. The trip will be fully charged.
TRANSPORT OF UNACCOMPANIED MINORS.
Travel arrangements for unaccompanied minors are subject to approval by Black City Cars or the transportation service provider performing the services. Black City Cars cannot guarantee that all our service providers allow unaccompanied minors. If you wish to book a ride for an unaccompanied minor, please add a comment under NOTES TO DRIVER on the OPTIONS section of the PASSENGER DETAILS page. Black City Cars will provide the customer with the details of the service provider assigned to the booking, for the customer to make such travel arrangements directly with the service provider. Alternatively, please contact Black City Cars hotline.
Requests that go beyond Black City Cars included standard services require an availability check which is only performed if you contact the service provider directly or the Black City Cars hotline at the time of the booking request. Our standard cancellation policy applies in the event that no availability check was performed and, consequently, our service provider was unable to carry out the ride.
If you’re travelling with an animal, please add a comment under NOTES TO DRIVER on the OPTIONS section of the PASSENGER DETAILS page. Black City Cars cannot guarantee that all our drivers and service providers allow animals. Black City Cars will provide the customer with the details of the driver or service provider assigned to the booking in order for the customer to make such travel arrangements directly with the service provider. Luggage and number of passengers
One piece of hand luggage per passenger such as a purse, briefcase, small backpack or a laptop bag, which is carried in the passenger compartment is included and free of charge for all of our vehicle booking classes. The transportation of larger suitcases is not allowed in the passenger compartment for safety and insurance reasons. Therefore, the number of luggages permitted per vehicle varies between vehicle booking classes. The current details are displayed when you select the vehicle booking class while booking.
First Class Sedan:
2 passengers per vehicle.
2 pieces of standard luggage with each not exceeding the total size of 158 cm / 62 inches (sum of width + height + depth) per vehicle.
Business XL:
4 passengers per vehicle.
4 pieces of standard luggage with each not exceeding the total size of 158 cm / 62 inches (sum of width + height + depth) per vehicle.
Business Van 8:
8 passengers per vehicle.
12 pieces of standard luggage with each not exceeding the total size of 158 cm / 62 inches (sum of width + height + depth) per vehicle.
The luggage allowance per booking class is mentioned in the RIDE TYPES page. If you’re traveling with luggage in excess of the allowance, please add a comment under NOTES TO DRIVER on the OPTIONS section of the PASSENGER DETAILS page. Black City Cars does not guarantee that our driver or service providers will accept more luggage than the advertised luggage allowance. Black City Cars will provide the customer with the details of the driver or service provider assigned to the booking in order for the customer to make such travel arrangements directly with them. *For airport pick-ups, if the flight number was provided during the booking, cancellations are free of charge up to 60 minutes before the actual landing time of the flight or, if applicable, up to 60 minutes before the selected buffer time has ended. If no flight number was provided, cancellations are free of charge up to 60 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
*Except for special events such as the Montreal Grand Prix F1.

Destination (one-way) booking:
The passenger can ask the driver for additional waiting time. Extending the waiting time cannot be guaranteed. The driver will decide whether this is possible or not, depending, for example, on his future journeys on his schedule. The following costs are incurred:
First Class Sedan: $2.00 CAD
Business XL: $2.16 CAD
Business Van 8: $2.66 CAD
Per minute plus tax.
Book by the hour:
The book by the hour booking starts with the arrival of the customer or after the waiting time has elapsed; the driver will stay booked for the passenger for duration of the reservation.

MONTRÉAL: Outside the passenger exit area or at the arrivals door #24, unless Black City Cars communicates otherwise. The driver will be holding a pickup sign with the name of the passenger or will be ready curb side. If the driver cannot be found, please contact the driver directly or call Black City Cars at +1 514 762-3512.
Destination (one-way) booking:
Stop-offs are possible if the request is indicated in the NOTES TO DRIVER field under PASSENGER DETAILS and confirmed in writing by the travel service provider. A spontaneous stop-off on site will be possible only with the driver’s agreement. For stop-offs, additional kilometer charges and additional waiting times may apply, see KILOMETRES/MILEAGE DURING THE RIDE and WAITING TIME ON PICK-UP sections.
Book by the hour:
The driver can be informed of any desired stop-offs directly on site. If you have a specific wished route when booking, please share it under NOTES TO DRIVER in PASSENGER DETAILS. As long as the stop-offs are within the booked time window, no additional fees will be charged. However, additional kilometer fees may apply, see KILOMETRES/MILEAGE DURING THE RIDE section.
In order to extend the booking, the customer must inform Black City Cars and receive confirmation before starting the journey. If you would like to spontaneously extend it on site, the driver will decide whether this is possible depending on connecting trips. It is only possible to extend it in 1-hour blocks for a fee.
If the included kilometers / mileages per destination booking or book by the hour are exceeded, additional kilometers / mileage will be charged according to the following prices:
Any extra costs that may incur during the ride, will be charged after the ride to the method of payment the original booking was made with. The booking customer is responsible for the resulting extra costs.
PASSENGER DOES NOT TURN UP:
If the passenger does not arrive at the agreed pick-up location without cancelling the booking within the free waiting period after the agreed pick-up time and if they cannot be reached via the telephone number stated in the booking and did not try to contact Black City Cars or the Service Provider to request extra waiting time, this will be regarded as no-show of the customer. In this case, the journey will be invoiced at 100%.
DRIVER DOES NOT TURN UP:
If the driver does not arrive, the passenger must contact the driver directly. The passenger will always receive the telephone number by email or SMS 30 minutes before departure and through the Black City Cars app. If the driver is not available or you did not receive any prior notification at least 30 minutes before departure then immediately contact the Black City Cars Service Hotline at +1 514 762-3512 and we will find an alternative solution for the transfer.
PASSENGER PREVENTS TRANSPORT:
If the passenger decides to refrain from a journey because the driver refuses special services (e.g. transport of children, animals, bulky luggage), which the driver or transport service provider previously did not agree to, the total amount of the fees agreed for the journey remains payable, less any expenses saved.
REFUSAL OF THE RIDE BY THE DRIVER:
The driver may refuse to carry out the journey if the passenger does not comply with the rules in the vehicle or if he or she suspects that the person booking, or the passenger is part of an illegal organization or uses the services in an illegal manner or for illegal purposes.
